I am currently in the itinerary planning stage - where to go, what to see, where to EAT and DRINK(most importantly). We've bought the airplane and train tickets and booked the hotel reservations. I've purchased tickets to 2 galleries in Florence (Uffizi with a guided tour and Accademia to see "David"). We also already have a scheduled tour of the Vatican Museum in Rome on Saturday July 16th.
The 4 of us leave on Thursday, July 14th and return on Monday, July 26th. We begin in Rome for 4 nights, then head to Florence for 5 nights. Kriss Hughes (my cousin) joins us in Florence for 3 days. We then will go to Cinque Terre for 2 nights where we'll hook up with Ross' very good friend, Ty Volkman, who is stationed in Vincenza with the US Army. We then bid adieu to Ross and Ty, and Doug, Caroline and I head to Venice for a fun-filled 2 nights before travelling back home to Atlanta. Ross returns five days after us.
